There are certain situations in which it is kind of hard for you to take a decision. One of my closest friends was in those moments of life. He was living in the suburbs with her wife and no kids. He and his wife work almost every day so they have no much time to be at home. He also was living at that time with his uncle, his father’s brother. At the beginning was not really uncomfortable at all, in fact they got along pretty well; however the married couple had some problems (that I would not discuss now). With no much thinking they decided to leave the old house they have lived for about 5 years and move to France. He said it was like trying to begin something new. Anyway, the bad side of the story is that no one would take care of the uncle anymore, unless they have not planned to take him with them. What would they do they? Actually, what they did?.

At the beginning they thought of giving him on adoption, no seriously, on adoption but then they thought it was some kind of a bad idea specially for the 80 years old he is. Seeing this was not an option, unless not a rational one, then they thought in abandon him at his luck. Yeah that seems cruel but hey! I have never said that my friend was a really good person after all, not even a clever one (for the adoption thing). Then the wife had a brilliant idea, as always women have brilliant ideas; they would sell him to the science. They heard about a new clinical trial to be developed in the local University. They couldn’t, the top age for entering to the study was 75 years, so the uncle was too old for this. With so many attempts for get rid of him they finally thought that the old man had a star so they finally decided to take him to a Care Home nearby so they could take good care of him.

You see the Care Home Services most of these companies offers are consider quite a luxury because people there treat the elder very well. It is in most cases a relaxing place and the perfect spot to make new friends for our beloved old relatives. Care Home Services may vary from home to home but the basic idea is the same one, of not only giving them a place to crush but also a place where to spend many hours without getting really boring. Some Care Home Services are more convenient for some clients and other are more expensive (including pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court and eventually small trips around the city and other cities nearby). So my friend had no other option that paying a good location where his beloved uncle will have probably most fun that my friend could have. Of course after this I stop being his friend but it is quite a nice story, isn’t it?
